Join us in advancing health for women at Women for Women’s!
Friday, November 16, 2018 | Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel | 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. | Buy Tickets
Imagine a room filled with nearly 1,000 people, united in support for innovation, groundbreaking research, and equity in healthcare for women.
We know the healthcare system doesn’t work the same for everyone — but the work being done at Women's College Hospital (WCH) is challenging the status quo in pursuit of equity and excellence to ensure that it does.
Above all, we know that gender matters in healthcare — and that is the theme of this year’s event. Gender matters in how cardiac disease is found and treated; gender matters in how we provide services and treatment for those dealing with issues of substance use, and in mental health.
Join us on Friday, November 16th to learn how you can make a difference in your own health, or that of a loved one, by understanding why gender matters in healthcare and how your support is leading a revolution to help all Canadians.
The Speakers: CARDIAC HEALTH, presented by Dr. Paula Harvey SUBSTANCE USE, presented by Kate Hardy MENTAL HEALTH, presented by Dr. Simone Vigod Our emcee: Dr. Danielle Martin
