What’s included with my ticket?
Your $149 ticket includes access to an online networking hour (hosted on Zoom), access to the live broadcast, and a Surprise & Delight Gift box. Shipping within the GTA is included in the $149 ticket price. Attending the networking hour prior to the broadcast is completely optional. The Surprise & Delight gift box is also optional. If you opt-out of the gift box, your whole ticket price is eligible for a charitable tax receipt (see the question below regarding tax receipts).
If you purchase a Bundle of 10 tickets or more, you will have access to your own private zoom room during the networking hour where you can host your guests.
What portion of my ticket purchase is eligible for a charitable tax receipt?
If you opt-out of the gift box, your whole ticket purchase is eligible for a charitable tax receipt (whether it’s 1 ticket, multiple tickets, or Bundles of 10). If you choose to receive the gift box, then approximately $100 of the $149 ticket is eligible (times your number of tickets, so for a Bundle of 10, the receipt will be approximately $1,000).
Is shipping included with my ticket purchase?
If your shipping address is within the GTA, then yes, shipping is included. If your shipping address is outside of the GTA but within Canada, we ask for a $25 shipping contribution per box. Note: The $25 contribution(s) is optional and therefore eligible for a charitable tax receipt. If you would like to ship internationally, please get in touch: firstname.lastname@example.org
How will I view the broadcast?
If you have an internet connection and can access websites on a TV, computer or device, you can view the broadcast! In the days leading up to the event, you will be sent a link and passcode for the event website where the broadcast will live stream. For the best viewing experience, we recommend a smart TV or computer with a large screen.
I plan to purchase multiple tickets with gift boxes. How will my guests and I receive our gift boxes?
Once you have made your purchase, a member of the Women’s College Hospital Foundation team will reach out to you to collect the shipping addresses for you and your guests. We will provide an online form that you can share with your guests to fill out directly (no need for you to collect all shipping addresses).
I plan to purchase multiple tickets. How will my guests access the broadcast?
Once you have made your purchase, a member of the Women’s College Hospital Foundation team will reach out to ask you to register the names and email addresses of your guests for the purpose of sending them the link and passcode to view the broadcast. We will provide an online form that you can share with your guests to fill out directly (no need for you to collect all email addresses).
I plan to purchase 10 or more tickets. How does the private video chat room work?
When we send you and your guests the link and passcode for the broadcast, we will also include the custom passcode for your private video chat room. You and your guests will be able to easily locate the link to your private room on the event website, clink on that link & enter the passcode provided, and voila, there you are! Our event host will let you know when the broadcast is beginning, and recommend that you exit the video chat room to enjoy the show.
I am not sure if I would like to opt-in or out of the gift box. When do I need to decide?
We will need your decision by February 19, 2021 to ensure that we are adequately supplied and that you and your guests will receive the box in time for International Women’s Day.
When will charitable tax receipts be issued?
Tax receipts for the eligible portion of your purchase will be issued after the event takes place in March, 2021.
